My Chromebook won't connect to wifi

If your Chromebook will not connect to home wifi, wipe your chromebook

How to Wipe a Chromebook

  1. Turn off the Chromebook.
  2. Press Esc+refresh button+Power.
A yellow exclamation point (!) or "Please insert a recovery USB stick" is displayed.
  3. Press Ctrl+D to begin Developer mode, then press Enter.
  4. Press Space, then press Enter.
The Chromebook deletes its local data, returning to its initial state. This generally takes a minute or two, but can take longer
  5. Chromebook will reboot to the startup page > Click on Let's go  button
  6. Connect to Wifi
  7. Chromebook should auto-enroll. However, if you are prompted to enroll, use your school email (this is the only email that will work) and password.
  8. Turn off the chromebook and power it back on to ensure it is getting the correct time zone.
